The Chenzhou government building--and in front of it, a giant statue of a gun with a knot in it. There is irony here, but I am not sure what it is. Posted by Picasa

Most certainly the statue in China brings some Irony. Here is some trivia. The statue in China is a copy of the original outside the UN HQ in New York. It was created by Swedish artist Karl Fredrik Reuterswärd in 1980 as a statue for non-violence after the shooting of John Lennon. There are only two statues made whereas the second one is in Stockholm, Sweden.
