The Kids are alright....
When the time comes to leave Chenzhou, the thing I am going to miss the most will be the people.
These are the kids from just outside of the school gate where I teach. The second one from the bottom I have grown quite attached to as his family are the ones who run the noodle house where I eat just about every day. I usually buy him an ice cream if his mother approves and he usually tries to offer me some sort of treat from his dirty fingers.
The other kids parents all work just outside the gate i various restaurants in shops. Most of them live a happy life even though they have hardly anything. They are some of the nicest kids I have ever seen. China certainly should be proud of its kids...
